Short Stories: The Molten Frog

A scientist wishes to dissect a frog to experiment it. He decided to put it in a pot with water. He then boiled it and the frog felt that it was resembling to a Jacuzzi. He was not aware of what is happening until it felt the sudden burning temperature he felt beneath him. He was near to be cooked.

There it goes, trying to escape. Because the boiling water is very hot and deep for the frog, it did not choose to escape. He died at the boiling water.

The message of this story to us is, "Will we wait for what will happen to our lives?" We all know destiny is true, but God entrusted things to us that are our responsibilities and make us aware of them. One of them is the environment. The environment is God's gift to us and was entrusted to us to take care. It is our job to be aware of what is happening of them because we are responsible for those.

One more is our families. They are like the environment, entrusted to us and a gift to us from God. We take actions in being aware and taking care of us because we are responsible for them. If we are not aware of the things entrusted to us, they might get harmed. The lesson of the literature shared today, is awareness. Let us be aware of the things that are entrusted to us because they are our responsibilities. If the world is full of awareness, the world will be rich in understanding and concern to other people.
