Advent: the Four Candles Again

As we know, this Sunday is the start of the much awaited preparation for the nativity of Christ: Advent.
After the week of Christ the King, or the last Sunday in the whole liturgical year, it is already Advent, which signifies that for us mass readers, a new set of liturgy, the Year II or B and this is the time we make the most of celebrating, compared to Lent, is more joyous and alive.

In advent, let us prepare. Even though it is not Lent, we can still program ourselves to receive the sacrament of reconciliation, go to mass as often as we could and be participative in celebrating the waiting. The four candles means four weeks of tireless waiting for our Savior, Jesus Christ so we can still do more than what is set on the table. Let us prepare and give ourselves to the full when the day of Nativity comes.
